How to wake up early without feeling sleepy

When you have to wake up early, you go to bed early. Right? When you wake up and you’re still sleepy, you think, “What was the point of that?” Well here are some tips that you can follow that will help you wake up early without feeling sleepy.

#1 Avoid Chocolate, wine and coffee before bedtime:

What you eat and drink before bed affects the way you sleep. This is not a new theory, but some foods and drinks can make it difficult to sleep. The National Sleep Foundation suggests staying away from Chocolate, Coffee/Tea, and Wine before bedtime. Chocolate, especially dark chocolate has a high level of caffeine and theobromine, which causes increased heart rate and sleeplessness. Trying to sleep after indulging in these foods could make you more tired in the morning.

#2 Use the bathroom before you go to bed:

Before the invention of the alarm clark, people would drink large amounts of water to help them wake up early. It works the other way too. If you go to bed with a full bladder and stomach, you could be tossing and turning all night. For a night of sleep and relief, remember to relieve yourself.

#3 Drink water:

After a night of sleep, your body is dehydrated. Having a big glass of water first thing in the morning rehydrates your body, kicks on your metabolism, and even revitalizes your brain. Simply drinking 16 ounces of water can make you feel more awake.

#4 A Quick and Easy Exercise Routine:

It’s easy to feel sluggish in the morning. If you have a quick and easy exercise routine, your body will feel more awake and refreshed even after a rough night of sleep. It could be as easy as a few push ups and a couple sit ups. Get the heart rate up and get the blood pumping for a more refreshing morning.

#5 Feng-Shui your Room:

Feng-Shui is the art of arranging furniture for a flow of positive energy. You can easily start the  Feng-Shui process by getting rid of clutter around you. Other steps in this process include adding more natural light and air flow.

#6 Think Happy Thoughts:

Simply thinking of something happy or exciting to start your day can wake up your brain and get your ready to start the day. When you have something positive or exciting to look forward it creates a higher level of serotonin in the brain and feels like you have more energy.
